The RWTS PDFwriter driver exactly uses the PDF library built into OSX to create PDFs. We did ensure that RWTS PDFwriter worked during our beta tests. You will be offered a chance to save.ĮQ has some pretty advanced printing features that prevented us from implementing the built in “Print as PDF” feature. You do not want the size to be changed to fit the paper size. Make sure that any box that says “Fit to Page,” “Shrink oversize pages to fit,” or “Expand small pages to paper size” is NOT checked.Get your pattern all ready to print on the print preview, exactly as you would like it.(The PDF program will show up in your printer list). In EQ, choose the PDF printer as your printer by going to FILE > Page Setup > Printer.If you do not have a PDF writer listed, you can download one for free from the internet (for example, CutePDF ). You can check for this in EQ by going to FILE > Print Setup and in the Print Setup dialog box, click the drop-down menu for the Printer Name. Windows computers have PDF writers installed on them such as “Microsoft Print to PDF”. For this you will need a PDF program on your computer. Look under Settings to choose other print options such as printing only certain pages, changing the page orientation, or printing two-sided.To save the pattern preview as a file, you must save it as a PDF file. To see each page, click the arrow at the bottom of the preview, and if the text is too small to read, use the zoom slider to adjust it. On the right side of the toolbar are tools for showing and hiding page breaks and for changing the zoom amount. To switch pages in the preview window, use the page tool in the toolbar below the print preview window, on the left side. If your mouse has a scroll wheel, you can use it to zoom in and out. To pan around the diagram page, click and drag the page. On the left, you'll see the Print button and the configurable Settings.

Tip: You can add the Print Preview or Print buttons to the Quick Access Toolbar in order to access them more quickly.
